The ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards Program (EEA) recognizes and celebrates engineering achievements that demonstrate the highest degree of skill and ingenuity among member firms. The EEA goal is to convey to the engineering industry, the construction industry, government officials and the general public the contributions that member firms make to the environment, to their community and around the world through exceptional engineering design. At this year's Gala, over 500 engineers and clients came together to celebrate achievements in public infrastructure projects and private-sector works in the areas of buildings, energy, environmental, structural systems, transportation, and water and wastewater engineering.
Paul Grosser, PhD, PE, president of PWGC, and Paul Boyce, PE, vice president of PWGC, were both on hand to accept the award.
The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) is the business association of America's engineering industry representing nearly 5,700 independent engineering companies throughout the United States engaged in the development of America's transportation, water and energy infrastructure, along with environmental, industrial and other public and private facilities. Founded in 1909 and headquarters in Washington, D.C., ACEC is a national federation of 51 states and regional organizations. Additional information may be obtained online from www.acec.org.
