What was the most humorous, or unique, situation you have encountered during your career? Several years ago I appeared before the New York City Environmental Control board to defend a client against an alleged violation of regulations regarding the handling of asbestos containing material. At the beginning of the hearing, the opposing counsel representing the City of New York, opened up her purse, removed knitting needles and yarn, and began to knit.
