What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? Thanks to careful planning, conservative financial management, and the dedication of our employees, Stalco has nearly quadrupled its business during the recession. We are taking advantage of the firm's strong financial position to continue our expansion in N.Y.C. We also focus on growing our commercial and healthcare portfolios throughout the region. Stalco recently completed construction of the 60,000 s/f, LEED Platinum-targeted Battery Park City Asphalt Green community and athletic center and a $9 million restoration of the landmarked Pier A in Manhattan. Our current medical projects include a new Lincoln Medical Center emergency room in the Bronx and several research labs in N.Y.C. and Nassau County. The value of Stalco's on-going work is $140 million. How do you unwind from a busy day? I ride horses several times a week, including team cattle roping and penning at a ranch in Riverhead. I also enjoy photographing sharks while diving off the coast of Long Island.
