Spotlights
Alan Nahmias is the principal at Stalco Construction, Islandia, N.Y.
What are your predictions for commercial real estate in the new decade?
"Although many people are skeptical about the future of the New York commercial real estate market, I remain optimistic in believing that the next decade will bring about a positive change. Fortunately, for Stalco Construction, an economically-driven and implemented plan has allowed us to remain busy with projects of all market sectors to bid on. In my opinion, if we all tighten our belts and continue to work hard, we will make it through these tough economic times, and those who plan and survive will emerge stronger than before. The commercial real estate market is cyclical, effecting construction, and throughout the next decade, I do predict that both will flourish interdependently."
