My greatest accomplishment for 2012 was being honored by the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters at their 14th Annual Golf for Hunger & Pool Party. It was nice to be acknowledged by my peers as a 'good guy' and to know that I was able to help do good for those in need. What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2012? Although we were a part of some very notable projects this year, including work for Weight Watchers, the MTA, and St. Nicholas Church at Ground Zero, the emergency repairs and rehabilitation of 180 Maiden Lane due to the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy is the one that definitely stands out to me the most. What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2013? I like to think that I am cautiously optimistic only because of the perceived pent up demand of big deals over the last 3 years, and I am generally a positive person. Unfortunately, I also believe the re-election of the current administration is not very business friendly and I am concerned that in lieu of expanding you may see many firms contracting, which greatly affects the construction industry here in the city. What are some of your resolutions for 2013? That's a good one. First some business, then personal. 1. Make a more concerted effort to get out and work and increase my business network. 2. Expand the operations of our Long Island office. 3. Expand our operations in performance of commissioning and look into performing special inspections. 4. Stop being a pack rat and de-clutter and get back to being a "gym rat" like I used to be. 5. Break 80 on the golf course and get down to a low single digit handicap.
