In the past year, what project or accomplishment are you most proud of? I’m most proud that my team at Crystal has developed, tested, and now has available for the AEC marketplace a new window wall system. Many years in development, the Crystal window wall is easier to install, and a competitively priced alternative, to traditional curtain wall with great structural and thermal performance. We also have brought to market several new high-end architectural window products with superior energy efficiency in the past year.

What was a pivotal point in your career? I joined Crystal 10 years ago as a sales representative, after earning my engineering degree, and was immersed in all the company’s product lines and manufacturing processes. With experience I was soon moved to manage larger commercial projects in the architectural department which involve design, engineering, and project management aspects of large scale fenestration projects, and this led to my position as head of the architectural team. As new development projects began requiring more sophisticated window products, I merged Crystal’s R&D product development with architectural sales for greater synergy in meeting market needs.
