What was the most difficult experience you have encountered as a leader?
The most difficult experience I ever had to navigate as a leader was sharing the news that my father had been diagnosed with leukemia and was going to pass away quickly. Being personally devastated and having to show stalwart strength to the outside business world was challenging, but with the support of my team we were all able to get through it.
What leadership role outside of the workplace is most rewarding to you?
I’d have to say my most rewarding leadership role outside of work is that of “Daddy.”
What advice would you give the next generation of leaders in your industry?
“You only have one reputation. It takes a lifetime to build and one poor decision to destroy.” These are amazing words to live by and if you keep them top of mind, you’ll succeed.
What is your management style?
Since our business is so exacting as we work with bankruptcy attorneys, trustees, judges, and more without room for error, I tend to have an extremely hands-on management style.
