What is your management style?
To give as much responsibility as early as possible to those who work with me. I am a big believer in allowing others to learn and become independent thinkers and workers, with proper supervision. This provides colleagues the opportunity to grow, produces a better end product and frees me up to manage.
What aspect of your position do you find most challenging?
We live in difficult times and a crazy world, which ultimately affects all business. The most challenging aspect of my job is guiding clients through both complex and difficult situations in such a way that they achieve their goals, despite the chaos swirling around us.
What leadership role outside of the workplace is most rewarding to you?
I enjoy giving my time to charitable organizations that actually make the world a better place. I am currently very involved with Sunrise Association, an organization that provides a summer camp experience to children with cancer and their siblings, free of charge.
What advice would you give the next generation of leaders in your industry?
Notwithstanding all of the changes technology has brought to the business world and the continued impact of COVID-19, success in the real estate industry boils down to two critical components, hard work and personal interaction. I am an ardent proponent of returning to the office, meeting in-person and getting deals done.
