New York, NY Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) has named Yun Luo, P.E., P.E. (TX), associate at LERA Consulting Structural Engineers as their Young Engineer of the Year.

Yun has experience with a broad spectrum of public and private project types, with expertise in the design of healthcare institutions. She is currently working on the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital in Coney Island, N.Y., a new 350,000 s/f facility operated by NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Yun serves as co-chair of the Structural Engineer Emergency Response (SEER) Committee, SEAoNY. She is also a member of the Professional Women in Construction, New York Chapter.

SEAoNY highlights engineers under the age of 36 who represent the top rising professionals in the structural engineering industry who give back to their industry and communities.
