Name: Eric Tudor
Company: Tudor Collins Commercial Real Estate
What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2019?
Although Patty and I were fortunate enough to broker more than four dozen transactions in 2019, the project that was most “notable” was being able to broker, with our broker associate Jerry Kelly, the sale and transfer of ownership of the city of Lockport’s most prominent property, the historic five-story 93,000 s/f Bewley Building to an out of country private investor. This building is now managed by a local management group who is responsible for multiple properties in the city of Lockport which is now seeing its own renaissance.
What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2020?
Patty, Jerry and I feel that we will continue to see the steady growth that has been going on since around 2010. Warehouse and distribution space will continue to be tight; rental rates and purchase prices will continue to rise.
What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2019?
My business partner and I hired a marketing company (CGI Communications/NextAd Agency), to help boost our website presence, and with that, we created a two-minute “commercial” TCCRE commercial. We are very proud of it!
