New York, NY Dina Silberstein, MBA has established an owner’s representation and real estate project management firm named DJS Consulting NYC, LLC (DJS). 

Silberstein previously served as assistant director at Brookfield Property Partners, project manager at CBRE and The Mace Group, hotel development consultant at GB Lodging, real estate development consultant at Etz Hashaked Corporation, interior designer and assistant project manager at The Switzer Group, and interior designer at Nelson.

“While supervising construction undertakings as a project manager and designer, I recognized a need for management support that provides a multi-faceted approach to interior projects, including real estate operations and design expertise, in addition to construction acumen. DJS offers this full scope of project management know-how, which is required by commercial and non-profit clients,” said Silberstein, DJS founder and principal.

DJS is currently completing the close-out phase of its first project, the kitchen relocation and 

IT, audiovisual, and security systems upgrades at the GMHC headquarters at 307 West 38th Street in Manhattan. As owner’s representative, DJS is managing all aspects of this 110,000-square foot interior fit-out project for the world’s leading provider of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and advocacy. The firm is supervising the design team, the general contractor, and the consultants, and has managed the project from the initial due diligence review to final design, construction, close-out, and operational support stages.

Silberstein’s portfolio of completed construction and design projects features some of the most creative and challenging interior spaces in New York City. These include interior construction of the 62-story, 844-unit Eugene residential tower, Brookfield’s first residential property, in the Hudson Yards district; the $35.4 million, 341,000 s/f AXA Equitable office restack at 1290 Avenue of the Americas; multiple offices at Five Manhattan West at 450 W 33rd St.; Morningstar Inc.’s New York City office relocation to 4 World Trade Center; The Worth Collection, Ltd.’s New York City showroom relocation to 520 Eighth Avenue; the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) headquarters at 4 World Trade Center; the $8 million, 90,000 s/f Marubeni America’s headquarters at 375 Lexington Ave.; and the 14,500 s/f Yamaha Artist Services office renovation. 

She has also managed several multi-site, multi-state projects, including Allstate Insurance Company’s offices in Chantilly, Virginia; Garden City, New York; and Brooklyn, New York and Citigroup’s De Novo Branch roll-out program and facilities renovations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. 

Silberstein’s international experience includes design and construction work for the Lev Hapark, View & More, and Talbiya upscale residential towers in Petach Tikvah, Kadima Tzoran, and Jerusalem, Israel.

She holds an MBA in Real Estate from Baruch College and a BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, both in Manhattan, as well as an OSHA 10-Hour Certification. Silberstein is an Anti-Defamation League Next Generation Executive Board member, a Co-Chair of St. Francis Food Pantries & Shelters Cycle for Hunger program, and a World Jewish Congress (WJC) Jewish Diplomatic Corps Fellow.
