What was your most notable project in 2017?

I recently served as the senior project designer for the first package of the MTA’s Enhanced Subway Initiative program. Urbahn Architects was the lead architect for the package that encompassed extensive renovations and upgrades to three subway stations in Brooklyn. It was the first design/build project in New York City subway’s history. Thanks to the collaborative relationships with other team members and despite the accelerated schedule, all three stations were designed and renovated on time and on budget. The success of this first package of the overall program has proven the feasibility and benefits of the design/build delivery method for large public transportation projects in New York State.
