How have you navigated obstacles to achieve success in your career? The obstacle in my path that is faced by many woman today is the work-life balance of a professional mom. I have adapted a very organized schedule at home to ensure the household keeps running very smoothly. I’m blessed that my family takes immense pride in my success and understands that the demands of my career does not change the fact that they have always and continue to remain my number one priority.
How do you play your strengths to your advantage in your career? My appreciation for people from all backgrounds and socioeconomic levels create an ease of communication that helps me build valuable relationships. This rapport allows for smooth negotiations free of needles drama. This style has benefited all who have dealt with me, be it sellers, buyers, and their respective legal counsel knowing that they have been accurately represented in their goal obtaining a satisfactory outcome.
What trends are you seeing so far this year? The trend that I am noticing this year is a sense of caution in the commercial world of real estate. Decisions are made with more forethought and consideration, leading to a decreased transaction volume.
What do you do for fun? After a successful closing, I lose myself in Barneys New York for a few followed by a good run along the water!
