How have you navigated obstacles to achieve success in your career? Communication with all parties involved is key in navigating all obstacles in commercial RE. Total transparency and honesty goes a very long way. 

How do you play your strengths to your advantage in your career? Relationships and a good track record are an immediate advantage for a smaller company like JRT. 

What trends are you seeing so far this year? Major corporations are putting more emphasis on inclusion of minority and women business enterprises (M/WBE). The Fortune 500 companies are sending us Request for Proposals (RFP’s) that we are answering with our strategic alliance partner, Cushman & Wakefield that are much more detailed. We are seeing pages of questions to be answered by the M/WBE and mandatory quarterly reporting requested by the Fortune companies whereby proving accountability. 

What do you do for fun? I am an avid Yankee fan and try to attend games as often as possible. For the last two seasons I have gone to Tampa for Yankee Women’s Fantasy Camp where I get to play baseball with other women from all over the country who are also Yankee fans.
