How did you get your start in real estate?

Working as a marketing assistant in a civil engineering firm in New Jersey.

What real estate associations or organizations are you a member of?

I am on the Board of Directors for SMPS-NY.

Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why?

Leadership is the quality that I value most in my professional life. And I’ve been fortunate to have encountered several stellar leaders in my career, partially because I’m drawn to those traits. One such person that stands out for me is Julie Pampuch. She is the immediate past president of SMPS-NY and the managing director of WB Engineers+Consultants. With a subtle and graceful influence, she is always able to coax the best out of those she leads. Another notable leader is the president of my firm, Christian Giordano. His presence sets the tone for the dynamic, collaborative culture of our firm, as well as the caliber of work we deliver.

What is the best advice you have received and who was it from?

As much as other people can be a beacon for you, ultimately, you have to dig deep and find that same confidence, calm and strength within yourself. My favorite quote that speaks to this is by Simon Sinek: “Be the leader you wish you had.”
