How did you get your start in real estate?

I have an eye for design and passion for real estate so I married the two as Director of Marketing for Staubach Company, a commercial real estate firm. I quickly realized the dynamic and multi-faceted industry of brokerage was my real calling and shifted over to transactional side of the business. As a broker, my marketing and design background has helped shaped the outcome and occupancy experience for many of our clients.

What real estate associations or organizations are you a member of?

Lindsay served two terms on the Board of Governors for the Young Men’s / Women’s Real Estate Association. She has also served on the Cabinet for Israel Bonds since 2005.  Lindsay has been a mentor with Trailblazers since 2000, and is co-chair of the Junior Board for Green Chimneys, a pioneer in animal assisted therapy for children with developmental issues. Lindsay has also been co-chair for the Community Outreach group at the Mandell School since 2009.

What recent honor, achievement or recognition has meant the most to you and why?

I was recently honored to accept the call to serve another term on Transwestern’s Board of Directors. Being an influencer of the firm’s future direction is one of the most exciting and rewarding commitments I have made.

What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you?

When scheduling meetings, mindfully line them up to minimize travel time and optimize your work hours. Business interactions can and should go beyond the walls of your office, for example, take a fitness class with a client or enjoy coffee while strolling through Central Park.
