The Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA) was formed in 1956 to promote economic and industrial development in the Northeastern region of the United States. The association encourages an informal exchange of ideas and serves as a medium by which its members can benefit from the experiences of other professionals
The members of NEDA represent a wide variety of disciplines including economic development, banking, real-estate brokerage, law, engineering and environmental consulting. It is this diversity that makes the organization unique in its ability to provide members with relevant information on current issues of concern and importance that lead to the promotion of investment and the resultant creation of employment opportunities.
In addition to distributing a quarterly newsletter entitled "ShopTalk," the organization holds an annual conference, and conducts educational courses and seminars on topics of interest to its membership. The organization also monitors federal legislation. Apply for membership in NEDA today.
