Real Estate Board of New York president Steve Spinola was the keynote speaker at the April luncheon of the Greater New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. The topic was Real Property Tax Fairness: No Margin for Delay."
Spinola said, "New York City's real property tax system is unnecessarily complicated, places an unfair tax burden on residential rental and office buildings and impedes capital investment and economic growth. The property tax system needs reform and needs it now."
