According to the Thornton Tomasetti board of directors and managing principals, Kyle Krall, P.E. has been promoted to senior principal in the U.A.E. office of the international engineering firm. Krall, formerly a principal at Thornton Tomasetti, is the office manager of the firm's Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices. He has more than 22 years of structural engineering experience in the design of commercial, sports, residential and mixed-use buildings and has extensive experience in the design of both steel and concrete structures. He is responsible for all phases of structural design from schematic through project administration. His recent work includes The New York Times Building in NYC; RBS Americas Headquarters Building in Stamford, Conn.; and the Abu Dhabi Financial Centre peer review and site observation. Other notable projects include San Francisco's AT&T Park baseball stadium; the expansion of Penn State's Beaver Stadium; and Nuova Sede della Regione Lombardia, the headquarters for the Lombardi Regional Government, Milan, Italy.
