According to Neil Dolgin, executive VP of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates (KDA), the firm has arranged a new 20-year, 5,900 s/f lease for IHOP Restaurant at 785 Flushing Ave.
Allison Chambers of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates represented both IHOP and the owner in the deal.
This lease marks the tenant franchisee's third International House of Pancakes restaurant in the borough, and the chain's fifth location in the borough overall.
Chambers also represented the franchisee in the lease of its second Brooklyn location at 2244 Church Ave. two years ago. At the time, Chambers leased the former While Castle site to a developer on a 49-year term and completed the IHOP transaction.
785 Flushing Ave. is a four-story, 135,000 s/f building situated in a densely populated area of the borough across from Woodhull Hospital. The property is anchored by a Modell's Sporting Goods Store. The site provides close proximity to national and local retailers on Broadway and Graham Avenue and is easily accessibility from the Flushing Ave. M and J subway lines and city buses.
