Pliskin Realty & Development closes 2 sales totaling $2.77 million

Two members of Pliskin Realty & Development, vice president of investment sales Mitchell Friedman and sales associate Gregory Batista, recently brokered the sale of two Long Island properties. Batista brokered the sale of an 11,000 s/f, single story retail building located at 355 Merrick Rd. The sale was between private investors for $1.42 million. The building will undergo a major renovation for the new owner's business. Batista represented the seller in this transaction. Victor Wong of GoGo Realty International (Glen Head, N.Y.) represented the buyer. The second transaction involved Friedman's brokering of a retail property located at 77-85 West Main Street in Smithtown for $1.35 million. The property currently houses six stores, including Nationwide Insurance as the anchor, and two apartments. It is also slated for a total renovation by its new owner. In this sale, Friedman represented the buyer and seller, both private investors.
