Pliskin of Pliskin Realty earns Fiduciary Status from state of New York, Unified Court System and Office of Court Administration for property management services

According to Jeffrey Pliskin, president and CEO of Pliskin Realty & Development, a prominent New York-Metropolitan area retail real estate brokerage, property management and investment firm, the firm has been approved by the state of New York, Unified Court System, Office of Court Administration to receive property management assignments in Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk Counties on behalf of court appointed receivers Pliskin Realty's property management services are comprehensive, inclusive of: financial management, maintenance, compliance, tenant relations and marketing for which the firm's full brokerage (property sales and leasing) capabilities are applied. Pliskin has 27 years of experience in property management, investment, and real estate brokerage. In addition to this latest credential, he holds the designation of Certified Shopping Manager (CSM) from the International Council of Shopping Centers. Pliskin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School. Currently under Pliskin's management are 85 properties with over 400 tenants. He also owns and manages his own high performance portfolio of properties. Prior to starting Pliskin Realty & Development in 1987, he served as a real estate attorney with the New York law firms of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Robinson Silverman. At Pliskin, he oversees all aspects of the firm's brokerage, property management, investment and preferred development activities. As a real estate attorney, he also lends his expertise in real estate law to facilitate transactions and resolve lease issues with existing tenants. An active and respected member of the industry, he maintains affiliations with leading industry associations such as the ICSC and is also highly regarded within the broader business community. Pliskin resides in Brookville, NY. He and his wife, Jodi, are the parents of three children, Adam, Stuart and Julie.
