Manhattan, NY According to real estate development firm SHVO, financial technology company Plaid will lease 45,300 s/f at 530 Bdwy. in SoHo. Plaid will be relocating into a build-to-suit office space at the building, expanding its New York City footprint to accommodate growth.
SHVO acquired 530 Bdwy. in 2020, partnering with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham and his design firm Snarkitecture to design the interiors and create bespoke art for the lobby, second, third and fourth floors of the building. The result is ART/WORK at 530 Bdwy. SHVO’s reimagining of 530 Bdwy. was inspired by the property’s industrial heritage and SoHo’s artistic spirit.
“At SHVO, we’re constantly redefining what it means to create exceptional spaces, and 530 Bdwy. is a perfect example of that,” said Michael Shvo, chairman and CEO of SHVO.
“By partnering with Daniel Arsham and Snarkitecture, we’ve transformed this iconic building into Soho’s most unique commercial address. 530 Broadway isn’t just another office space — it’s a statement of creativity and craftsmanship. As forward-thinking companies like Plaid seek to elevate their workplaces, this building offers a rare opportunity to provide employees with inspiring environments in one of New York’s most vibrant neighborhoods. It’s all about enhancing the employee experience — giving people a place where they genuinely want to spend their time and do their best work.”
