Pietro’s Ristorante signs 5,022 s/f lease at Stellar’s Midtown East property

Manhattan, NY Stellar Management and Lee & Associates NYC have finalized a lease agreement to bring Pietro’s Ristorante (Pietro’s), the Italian-style steakhouse that has been a New York City staple since 1984, to 890 Second Ave. Pietro’s will occupy 3,564 s/f of ground-floor space and 1,458 s/f of lower-level space in a new 15-year lease. Pietro’s plans to move into this Midtown East location this month, following the closure of its original site on 43rd St. after more than 50 years of service to the community.

Cory Gahr from Lee & Associates NYC represented Pietro’s. The owner, Stellar Management, was represented by Sean Moran and Patrick O’Rourke of Cushman & Wakefield.

“Pietro’s is a multi-generational dining institution that has served New York City for more than 50 years,” said Gahr, managing director at Lee & Associates NYC. “Seeking a turnkey space near its previous location on 43rd St., Pietro’s aimed to continue serving its loyal customer base. 890 Second Ave. presented an ideal opportunity in a competitive market, especially for second-generation restaurant spaces, offering both convenience and strategic positioning for the restaurant’s continued success.”

“We’re proud to welcome Pietro’s to its new home in Turtle Bay and to play a role in the next chapter of this iconic New York eatery’s storied journey,” said Jeremy Campbell, general counsel of Stellar Management. “Situated just blocks from the United Nations and surrounded by a vibrant mix of businesses, residences, and landmarks, this prime location offers unparalleled visibility and access to a diverse, dynamic community.”

890 Second Ave. is situated in the Turtle Bay neighborhood, near the United Nations. The property offers access to a range of public transportation options, including the Lexington Ave/53rd St. and Grand Central subway hubs, serving the E, M, 4, 5, 6, and 7 lines. Additionally, it is located along the M15 and M15+ bus routes on Second Ave.
