Park Line Asphalt Maintenance completes 20 aircraft hangar project

West Hampton Beach, NY Richard and Robert Mailand, partners in "The Outer Marker LLC', a lease holder of a three acre parcel of land located on the Francis Gabreski Airport have finished the construction of 20 aircraft hangars. The general contractor for the project was Park Line Asphalt Maintenance Inc. Brookhaven, N.Y. Park Line, a shopping center maintenance and construction company also owned by the Mailand brothers put in place a team of contractors who completed the $2 million project from start to finish in only seven months. The hangars consist of two prefab steel buildings each 500' long by 40' wide with a 70' wide paved taxi-way between. Each building houses 10 hangars, each 48' by 40.' The hangars are insulated with heat, electric, water and bathrooms. Some hurdles Park Line had to negotiate consisted of the relocation of almost 20,000 cubic yards of fill and the construction of temporary electric and sewers. As of this press release all but three hangars have been taken. Previous to this project Park Line constructed a 40,000 s/f multi-tenant industrial building located in Bohemia also owned by Richard and Robert Mailand which took 1 year to complete. Future plans for the Mailands consist of a 20 unit residential town home community located in the heart of Bohemia. Town approvals are in place as they await health department permits.
