P.W. Grosser hires Pancoast as project manager

Bohemia, NY According to P.W. Grosser Consulting, Inc. (PWGC) the firm has hired Jason Pancoast, P.E., to further PWGC’s engineering and environmental consulting influence in the region.

As a new associate, Pancoast joins PWGC’s environmental unit as a project manager in the New York City office, which is responding to growing client demand.

“I am thrilled to join the PWGC team as a project manager and help expand their services and presence in Northern New Jersey and NYC markets,” said Pancoast. “I am eager to lend my knowledge and experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering, large-scale construction, and full service environmental compliance projects to PWGC and their clients.”

Pancoast noted he is already impressed with the culture and professionalism at PWGC and is ready to help make a positive impact on the surrounding community and environment as a whole.  

“Jason’s strong technical background is a great asset to our many diverse NYC-based environmental projects and his strong business skills will help support the growth of our NYC office,” said PWGC senior vice president James Rhodes. 

Pancoast will begin in PWGC’s Bohemia Office where he will be trained and establish relationships with colleagues and then transition to the NYC office.  

Pancoast earned both his B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Newark-based NJ Institute of Technology.  He is currently working towards an MBA in Strategic Management and Global Business at Rutgers.

Pancoast has more than seven years’ experience in the environmental engineering industry, which includes compliance reporting, water treatment and brownfield remediation.  He has design management and construction experience in NYC, which has resulted in an in-depth knowledge and helped secure approvals from a variety of NYC agencies, including the Department of Building, Fire Department of New York, the Department of Environmental Protection, and New York State’s Department of Environmental Conservation.
