P.W. Grosser Consulting holds luncheon to honor scholarship winners, D'Agnostino, Hill and McKane

Local Long Island environmental consulting and engineering firm, P.W. Grosser Consulting (PWGC) held their annual luncheon honoring the 2012 PWGC Scholarship Program winners. PWGC established these scholarships for local high school students looking to purse a future career in the engineering field. In the past several years, the PWGC scholarship program has awarded over $5,000 in scholarships to students who are continuing their education. These scholarships help pave the way for these bright young students from diverse backgrounds to excel in the engineering profession, which will ultimately benefit us all. First Place: Timothy D'Agnostino from Northport High School was awarded a $750 scholarship. D'Agnostino will attend the University of Delaware this fall studying environmental engineering. D'Agnostino is ranked 4th out of a class of 502 and has a GPA of 104.12. Runner-Up: Matthew Hill from St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School was awarded a $500 Scholarship. Hill will attend the Pennsylvania State University this fall studying mechanical engineering. Hill is ranked 37th out of a class of 412 and has a GPA of 97.40. Runner-Up: Hunter McKane from Harborfields High School was awarded a $500 scholarship. McKane will attend The Cooper Union this fall studying mechanical engineering. Hunter has a GPA of 100.89. PWGC has over 20 years of experience specializing in a wide range of services including energy conservation and sustainability; civil/site, water/wastewater engineering; hazardous/non-hazardous waste management; comprehensive environmental, environmental/regulatory compliance; redevelopment, site assessments & remediation; natural resource management; and brownfield redevelopment consulting. PWGC provides these services to a multitude of clients ranging from developers and financial institutions, to municipalities and federal agencies.
