Manhattan, NY P.J. Clarke’s Oyster Bar & Grille, which opened its first location in 1884, signed a 7,500 s/f restaurant lease at Manhattan West. The restaurant’s newest location will highlight local seafood, similar to their Oyster Bar on the Hudson at Brookfield Place, in addition to their burgers and cheesesteak egg rolls and D. Anderson Chili. A 50-seat bar will anchor the space, offering martinis and P.J.’s familiar service. P.J. Clarke’s Oyster Bar & Grille is the latest addition to the Manhattan West neighborhood which spans eight acres of dining, hospitality, entertainment, residences, office space, and experiential retail.

With Manhattan West’s proximity to Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, and Moynihan Train Hall, as well as direct connection to the High Line, P.J. Clarke’s at Manhattan West will offer an inviting and casual neighborhood perch for sports fans, concertgoers, office workers, tourists, and local residents alike. The restaurant at Manhattan West will be P.J. Clarke’s fourth outpost in New York City and is slated to open in late 2024.

“We’re delighted to bring our expanded oyster bar program – we’ve already served more than 500,000 this year - along with our signature burgers, and timeless P.J. Clarke’s style to Manhattan West,’ shared Philip Scotti, owner of P.J. Clarke’s. “We felt this exciting, emerging area of the city could really use a tried-and-true neighborhood saloon, and we’re building P.J.’s largest bar yet to welcome in commuters, concertgoers, travelers, and our loyal standbys.”

“P.J. Clarke’s is a New York City staple, and we couldn’t be more excited to open its latest outpost at Manhattan West, a dynamic new neighborhood that has transformed a formerly desolate stretch of Manhattan into a vibrant destination.,” said Callie Haines, executive vice president and head of New York, Brookfield Properties. “Manhattan West boasts some of the most popular restaurants in New York City, such as Ci Siamo, Zou Zou’s, and Casa Dani, and with its new Oyster Bar & Grille, PJ Clarke’s will be the absolute perfect complement to them. Manhattan West’s prime position just steps from Madison Square Garden, Moynihan Train Hall, and the High Line make it the ideal place to go at lunchtime, after work, on weekends and before and after games and shows.”
