Outside the Region: LandTek Group acquires Florida’s Sports Turf One

Boynton Beach, FL According to the LandTek Group, Inc., it has acquired Sports Turf One. The LandTek Group is a leading general contractor on the east coast specializing in the construction of athletic fields and facilities. Sports Turf One is one of the state’s premier natural and synthetic turf sports field construction experts. 

Following the acquisition, Sports Turf One will be known as LTG Sports Turf One. LTG Sports Turf One’s office, located at 3541 High Ridge Rd., will become The LandTek Group’s southern division.  

“As The LandTek Group continues to grow and increase its footprint throughout the east coast, expansion into southern markets, specifically Florida, was the next logical step. Sports Turf One has established itself as a leader in this area,” said Mike Ryan, President and Founder of the Amityville, New York-based The LandTek Group. “Dell Haverland and his team, with their expertise and experience, were a natural fit for The LandTek Group. This endeavor will allow us, together, to continue to be a leader in the athletic facility construction and maintenance industry as we continue to Build Champions from the Ground Up!’”

The LandTek Group, Inc. has completed thousands of projects in 11 states. The company offers athletic facility construction and maintenance services to clients, including professional sports teams, private organizations, colleges, universities, public school districts, private schools and municipalities.
