Friedland Realty Advisors, formerly NAI Friedland - a full-service commercial real estate firm with a 40-year pedigree - has revealed that Josef Pomerantz, associate broker, and Karnit Mosberg, retail specialist, have obtained exclusive brokerage rights to the Yorktown Green shopping center. The 177,250 s/f retail center was built in 1975 and is owned by Oster Properties. This is the first time that Oster has awarded exclusive rights to a brokerage firm in New York State.
Located in Northern Westchester in the town of Yorktown Heights, Yorktown Green is one of the area's busiest open-air shopping centers and boasts one of the top producing Kmart's in the region as its anchor. In addition to Kmart, Yorktown Green is home to Huntington Learning Center, Taco Bell, Burger King and Petland Discounts. The busy neighborhood shopping center that is conveniently located near the Taconic Parkway and Route 202, features ample parking and is easily accessible from multiple entrance points.
"As a frequent visitor to Yorktown Green and a retail broker, I felt confident that Karnit and I understood the space and its value to the community," said Pomerantz. "The center is right in our backyard which makes us the right team to lease the available space."
"Josef and I have cultivated the right retail relationships and know that we can help make Yorktown Green even more successful than it is today," said Mosberg.
"Friedland Realty Advisors is known for having the most skilled brokers in Westchester," said Ayall Schanzer, president and CEO. "This first-ever exclusive broker deal with Oster Properties is a testament to that."
With over of 52,000 s/f of prime retail space currently available, Friedland's Pomerantz and Mosberg are leveraging their relationships with local and national retailers, as well as their deep understanding of the community's needs, to bring additional successful retailers to the shopping center.
