Ortmann named a partner at Goldberg & Connolly

According to Goldberg & Connolly, a construction law firm, Erik Ortmann has been named a partner of the firm. Ortmann focuses his practice on construction law and commercial litigation. Since joining Goldberg & Connolly in 2006, Ortmann has concentrated on all aspects of the construction industry, representing general contractors (heavy highway and vertical building contractors), construction managers, public owners and government agencies, private owners and developers, subcontractors, construction suppliers, manufacturers and design professionals. Ortmann is also certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED green associate. Throughout his time with Goldberg & Connolly, Ortmann has consistently earned great accolades from his clients, colleagues and the firm's management. "Erik has become an outstanding representative of Goldberg & Connolly and a passionate advocate for our clients. As a frequent presenter at industry forums and events on construction matters critical to the public contracting industry, Ortmann speaks on such topics as M/WBE good faith compliance; getting paid and the prompt pay act; and delay claim notice and recordkeeping requirements. Ortmann received his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1994. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1990. Ortmann is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in New York State.
