Officers and directors to be installed February 8

By John Lavelle Board Meeting The NYSCAR Board of Governors will meet on February 8 at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany. Officers and directors will be installed at this meeting. One of the items that the board will focus on this year includes the Organizational Alignment Core Standards that have been set up by the National Assoc. of Realtors. All boards/associations must certify compliance with the standards by June 30. The categories of the standards include the following 1. Code of Ethics 2. Advocacy 3. Consumer Outreach 4. Unification Efforts and Support of the Realtor Organization 5. Technology 6. Financial Solvency Annual Conference The Annual Conference Planning Committee, chaired by Brian DiNardo, held their first meeting and plans are underway for this year's conference!
