O'Sullivan named partner at Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP

Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP (MWE, Garden City, N.Y. and New York, N.Y.), a leading certified public accounting and business advisory firm, has appointed Scott O'Sullivan, CPA as partner in MWE's Tax Department. O'Sullivan previously served as senior tax manager. At MWE, O'Sullivan serves in the Real Estate Practice Group, where he is heavily involved in tax planning and deal structuring, including 1031 exchanges, cost segregation studies, and other transactions on behalf of prominent real estate developers and investors, property managers, nursing home owners and operators and other diverse businesses. He joined MWE in 1996 as a senior accountant initially serving in the firm's Audit Department and subsequently the Tax Department. O'Sullivan started as a general tax accountant with Howe, Riley & Howe, PC (Manchester, N.H.). In 2005, O'Sullivan's achievements were recognized by Long Island Business News which identified him as one of the Top Five to Watch in Commercial Real Estate. He was also named one of Real Estate Weekly's "Rising Stars."
