NY Axe leases 4,023 s/f at Samanea New York

Westbury, NY Samanea New York, the new retail, entertainment and dining destination located at 1500 Old Country Rd., has signed a new lease with NY Axe. The Long Island-based axe throwing range will occupy 4,023 s/f on the second floor of Samanea New York and is expected to open in the fall.

NY Axe invites friends, families, and co-workers to a casual fun night out of axe throwing. Trained coaches will teach each guest how to safely use the axes, both handling and throwing to the digitally projected targets. NY Axe will offer individual lanes, private rooms, league play as well as private celebrations for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate events, fundraisers, and so forth.

“We are thrilled to welcome NY Axe to Samanea NY,” said Dominic Coluccio, director of real estate at Samanea New York. “Over the past few years, we have set out to make Samanea NY a unique lifestyle destination on Long Island, offering the community a variety of options to entertain, dine, and shop. NY Axe will join us during a very exciting time, when many of our new entertainment tenants are opening their doors. Guests, on any given day, will be able to choose from Empire Adventure Park, The Gravity Vault: Indoor Rock-Climbing Gym, X-Golf, Pickleball Smash-It, Smash-It Therapy, Ryco’s Escape Room, Double Tap Laser Range, and Let’s Craft.”

This will be NY Axe’s fourth location on Long Island. The minimum age to attend is 10 years old with adult supervision. Once open, reservations can be made online.

Coluccio helped secure NY Axe at Samanea New York with Matthew Kucker, Jordan Baruch, and Herbert Agin at Colliers International, the property’s exclusive brokerage firm, who represented the landlord and the tenant in the deal.

“NY Axe is a Long Island based business. We are growing quickly as people experience the exhilaration of axe throwing and continue to join us for a fun time out,” said Carl Mazza/Mario Simone, owners, NY Axe. “We selected Samanea New York as our next location to broaden our customer base in Nassau County. It is an ideally centralized location that attracts customers from the North and South Shores, and we cannot wait to open our doors to the neighborhood.”

Samanea New York tenants open to the public include Bloomingdale’s Furniture Outlet, Dave & Buster’s, The Cheesecake Factory, 99 Ranch Market, Fortunoff Backyard Store, X-Golf, Empire Adventure Park, Snapology and XP League, Smash-It Pickleball, Smash-It Therapy, Double Tap Laser Range, Leon Banilivi Rugs, Distanced Together, Kawai Piano Outlet, Sunflower Spa, Let’s Craft, Leonardo Furniture, MyPlanet Living Center, and K-POT Korean BBQ.
