We hope to fortify existing relationships, and introduce ourselves to potential new clients as well. I anticipate a very well-attended and productive event this year, building on last year's success. Are investors finding the types of properties that they want right now? Are tenants happy with the sites available to them? The competition for good sites is fierce, and prices are driving some investors away. Our tenant clients are still finding good deals in existing spaces. In the current economic climate, what kinds of deals are out there and who is the typical buyer? Consumer? The deals we see are both complicated and subject to intense negotiations, as last year. Deals are taking more time and effort. Quite a few are the repositioning of older properties to meet the demands of the current market place, and some require substantial reinvestment.
