New York Commercial Real Estate, Ltd. continues to gain listings and add brokers

In less than one year in business, New York Commercial Real Estate, Ltd. is already growing at a steady pace. The full-service commercial real estate company founded by president Jack Jawdat, a seasoned industry veteran, has grown its team from Jawdat and one real estate consultant and one administrator to six brokers/real estate consultants and two administrators. The rate at which the company is securing listings is equally impressive. This month alone, New York Commercial Real Estate announced listings for several medical office properties in Long Island's prime Three Village Smithtown, Stony Brook, Setauket region, as well as mixed-use and retail properties in both Eastern and Western Suffolk. Among the medical properties New York Commercial Real Estate is marketing is a two-story building located at 221 Mount Pleasant Rd. in Smithtown. The property offers outstanding visibility from the major thoroughfare of Rte. 347. Also in Smithtown at 363 Rte. 111 in Smithtown is space in a modern 18,000 s/f medical office building available for lease. In Stony Brook, New York Commercial Real Estate has new listings The Stony Brook Medical Park's Buildings 9, 13 and 15, located at 2500 Nesconset Highway. The company is also brokering the sale of Building 9. On the retail front, New York Commercial Real Estate was named the listing broker for a 13,000 s/f shopping center in Nesconset at 205 Terry Rd. and further west, the company is brokering a 30,000 s/f mixed-use building at 315 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington, which includes 4,200 s/f of retail space and 4,500 s/f of office space. According to Jawdat, many of these listings come from investors with whom he and his brokers have long-standing relationships. "When you build a reputation based on professionalism, high quality service and integrity, you maintain that relationship for a long time," said Jawdat. "We are fortunate in having some very active investors among our clients who continue to place their trust in us to handle their properties. They recognize that having an experienced qualified broker who you can fully trust is more important today than ever before." New York Commercial Real Estate's brokers have been instrumental in many high profile transactions including those on behalf of national tenants and real estate investors, as well as a wide range of property owners, businesses, retailers and medical groups. In addition to office, industrial, retail and investment property sales and leasing, New York Commercial Real Estate's services include land development, build-to-suit and property management. As part of its value-added services, the company supports its clients in various areas including 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, relocations, construction projects and appraisals. Jawdat and his team members maintain strong working relationships with numerous municipalities across the region; relationships they leverage fully to meet their clients' needs. "I believe our success is based on our relationships and these relationships are based on our ability to consistently provide "Best in Class" commercial real estate services regardless of the challenges, whether related to the economy and market conditions or unique to a particular property," said Jawdat. "It's about knowing your business, understanding the market and being creative in your strategies to market a property."
