New York City Council approves all fourteen En-Suite Sky Garages

Final approval has been given by the New York City Council on a special permit allowing twelve additional parking spaces at 200 Eleventh Ave., the new condominium designed by Annabelle Selldorf, for real estate developer Youngwoo & Associates, (YWA). "We are thrilled that 200 Eleventh Ave., will be the first condominium in America to offer this incredible amenity," said Glaco Lolli-Ghetti, director of YWA. The En-Suite Sky Garage System, an internal elevator that brings residents in their cars to private garages immediately adjacent to their homes, offers buyers one of the city's most coveted amenities, private parking spaces steps from their door. Sensors and monitor at the elevator's entrance are alerted when a car is present, recognize each resident's car, welcome and direct them into the elevator. The En-Suite Sky Garage System is full equipped with the latest in safety equipment and residents will be fully trained in the system. The En-Suite Sky garage was conceived by YWA and designed by Annabell Selldorf with elevator engineer Jon Halpern of John Halpern & Associates and technological assistance from Bradley Rickert of Siemens.
