Steve Napolitano, AmTrust Title

Old Bethpage, NY Steve Napolitano, senior executive vice president of AmTrust Title and president of the Direct Title Division, will be presented with the Commander’s Award from the Museum of American Armor during ceremonies this coming Memorial Day in recognition of his support of programs that honor our American veterans.

Napolitano, whose late father served in general George Patton’s Third Army, said, “I am honored to be recognized but I am accepting this award on behalf of all of us at AmTrust Title  where we believe we have a responsibility to sponsor programs and tributes that allow us to honor those who have defended our freedoms, and those who continue to do so.”

Napolitano, a resident of Rockville Centre, said, “My efforts over the years reflect my own family’s experiences during World War II. My Dad fought in Europe as part of Patton’s Army, and that combat tour of duty defined him for the rest of his life. I don’t believe there is a family in America that doesn’t have a direct connection to this era, and we have a responsibility to keep the lessons from World War II within reach of a new generation.”

A respected leader within the title insurance industry, Napolitano is the driving force behind AmTrust Title. He and his team of experienced underwriting, sales and production professionals serve major commercial real estate developers, landlords and institutional investors both domestically and internationally. Prior to this, he was founder and CEO of First Nationwide Title.

In the charitable arena, he has raised millions of dollars for non-profit organizations including the Museum of American Armor, Big Brothers and Sisters, Starlight Foundation, Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces, Joe Namath’s March of Dimes Celebrity Golf Classic and many others.

Steve lives in Rockville Centre with his wife, Lisa Carcaterra, and their three children, Jaclyn, Luke and Paul.

Museum founder and president Lawrence Kadish stated, “Steve and the Board share a common mission: to create a powerful educational destination for young people who will come to know of the courage and valor of all Americans who have worn the uniform. Whether it was Normandy, Iwo Jima, Mekong or Kabul, our obligation to the men and women of our military is clear and his support of this museum allows us to fulfil that responsibility.”

The Museum of American Armor www.museumofamericanarmor.org presents over 35 operational military tanks and vehicles, and is located at 1303 Round Swamp Road, Old Bethpage, and is open year around,  Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Donations are $12 for adults; $8 for children 5 - 12 (under 5 admitted free); and $8 for seniors, volunteer firefighters and veterans. Admission provides visitors with access to both the armor museum and the adjacent Old Bethpage Village Restoration.
