Museum of Women sign lease at KPG Funds' 480 Broadway

New York, NY KPG Funds (KPG) has leased the retail at 480 Broadway to The Museum Of Women. When completed, there will be over 25,000 rentable s/f of over 14+ immersive and action focused activities for guests to interact with as they roam the Museum of Women world along with a gift shop and commissary with women owned and operated goods.

"We are excited to have the Museum of Women in our building" said Greg Kraut, CEO of KPG. "The Museum of Women is an innovative experience that is perfect for SOHO, and we are thrilled to be part of that experience.”

The Museum of Women will open their debut location this summer. KPG was also represented in the negotiations by the Ripco Real Estate team of Richard Skulnik, Lindsay Zegans and Ben Sabin.

The Museum was represented by Josh Berger of Norman Bobrow & Co. The asking rent for the entire space was $200 per s/f. The Museum's short term lease agreement runs through January 2023. The Museum will occupy the lower level, first and second floors of the former "Top Shop" space -- with escalators going to every floor. The Museum's founder Abby Trott has brought on a talented team who have been pioneers in innovative experiences since 2006.

“We are beyond excited to have Museum of Women’s first physical location be at 480," said Trott. "We could not think of a more iconic location to be the home for the bold experience we are building to change the way we hear, define, and listen to women. Different rooms will highlight the female experience and inspire women through their interactions with the art."

Tri-state capital migrates nationally amid regulation pressure - by Reese Weaver

New York tri-state multifamily investors are increasingly reallocating capital to less-regulated markets across the U.S. as rent control and legislative risk erode returns at home. With over 60% of New York City’s rental housing stock classified as rent-stabilized, the traditional value-add model — buying under-performing buildings,
