Montgomery McCracken expands New York office with addition of Sharf-Abramson to Litigation Practice

Erica Sharf-Abramson, Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP

According to Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP, Erica Sharf-Abramson is joining the firm's New York office as an associate. She will concentrate her practice in commercial litigation and real estate.
Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Sharf-Abramson served as a real estate associate with Thacher, Proffitt & Wood LLP where she handled negotiations, mortgage and property-related lease reviews, and title, survey, and zoning analysis. She has also served as a litigation associate at Kaye Scholer LLP and summer associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
"The addition of Erica marks just the beginning to an aggressive effort to heavily recruit young talent in our New York office," said Richard Scheff, chairman of Montgomery McCracken.
Previously, Sharf-Abramson was in the legal executive search industry. She served as vice president of legal in the London office of A.T. Kearney Executive Search and as executive director at D.S. Wolf, where she spearheaded the launch of the firm's London office and went on to consult at the company's San Francisco and New York offices.
Sharf-Abramson has also established herself as a driven entrepreneur, having founded and served in the role of CEO at two companies. First Growth Wine Cellars, a wine cellar design, wine investment, and sommelier services company, and Wonderful World of Water, an international green water sanitization company with distribution channels throughout the United States.
Sharf-Abramson received a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, with a B.A. degree in Economics. She is admitted to practice in New York.
