Monroe is working with national general contractor Oliver/Hatcher Construction out of Novi, MI on the project. Work is underway, with completion slated for Mid-Summer of 2014.
"We are excited about this new opportunity to help bring the national leader in wholesale cash and carry foodservice supply to Rochester," said Monroe Roadways president, Jeff Taylor. "We hope to develop a lasting relationship as Restaurant Depot continues to expand throughout the region."
Monroe's responsibilities for the project include erosion control management, earthwork and grading, foundation excavation and backfill, site utilities, site concrete, and asphalt paving. Monroe will be self-performing all work for the 60,000 s/f one-story pre-cast concrete warehouse, located on 8.7 acres north of Jefferson Rd.
