Molloy of H2M Labs named chairman of ACIL

The American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) has recently welcomed a new chairman to lead the organization, John Molloy, P.E., president and CEO of H2M and H2M Labs. Molloy was inducted as chairman at a ceremony during the 71st annual meeting, which was held this year in Albuquerque, N.M. ACIL is the trade association representing independent, commercial scientific and engineering firms. Its members are professional services firms engaged in testing, product certification, consulting, and research and development. ACIL defines independent scientific and engineering services firms as commercial entities engaged in analysis, testing, inspection, materials engineering, sampling, product certification, research and development and related consulting services for the public. Molloy is an active member of the Water Environment Federation and the American Water Works Association. He is active in the Melville Rotary, twice serving as president.
