Miller of Miller Samuel Inc. guest speaker at Appraisal Institute event held October 27

Nearly 200 professional real estate appraisers attended the October 27 event held at the Westbury Manor, hosted jointly by the New York Community Bankers Mortgage Forum Group and the Long Island Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. The speaker for the evening was Jonathan Miller, president/CEO of Miller Samuel Inc., who addressed new residential housing market concerns for the current year and year 2010 for the Long Island and Metropolitan New York regions, including the changing economic climate of the real estate market, re-sale versus new development, types of mortgage products, finding a bottom versus turning a corner, HVCC, and where do we go from here.
