According to Douglas Elliman Real Estate, New York City real estate broker Brett Miles has joined the company. He was previously at Town Residential, where he was the first agent to join the firm. Miles will be based out of the company's 90 Hudson office.

With nearly a decade of experience in New York City real estate, Miles has earned himself a respected reputation as an accomplished broker in luxury condominium, co-op and townhouse sales throughout Manhattan. His major transactions and record-breaking sales while part of the Miles-Green Team at Town Residential made them consistent top producers since the firm's inception four years ago, and earned them the number one ranking for 2013. That same year, the Wall Street Journal ranked his team number nine for sales in New York and number 49 in the entire country. He has also been ranked on The Real Deal's top 75 Listing Agents list for the last three years in a row.

Miles' most notable deals include breaking the record for highest price-per-square foot for a non-penthouse downtown condominium at Superior Ink and selling 45 East 74th Street for $26 million, which was a record sale for a 20'-wide townhouse in Manhattan. Additional milestones in his career include handling sales for the sellout of a new development in Tribeca, 33 Vestry Street, 385 West 12th Street in the West Village and being responsible for selling out the conversion at 140 West 22nd Street. He is currently the co-head of sales at Tribeca's 15 Leonard Street.

Prior to his career in real estate, Miles worked in hospitality alongside famed San Francisco and New York greats Daniel Boulud and Drew Nieporent. A native Californian who has lived in New York City since 2002, he studied Business at California State University-Stanislaus and previously worked as a trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine to develop comprehensive personal health and nutrition plans for Equinox members in Greenwich Village.
