Meet the USGBC Members: Lisa Broughton

Lisa Broughton, LEED AP BD + C, is acting energy director for Suffolk County. She is project manager for the 17 MW Solar Carport project and Suffolk County's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant, which includes an innovative LEED accreditation course for county and town design professionals. The program has resulted in 34 LEED GA including 18 LEED AP accredited local municipal employees, now LI Chapter members. Broughton holds a master's degree in Public Policy with emphasis on Environmental and Energy policy.
