Meet the USGBC Member - Rosen

Neil Rosen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, CEM, CHFM, GGP, EDAC, is a NYS registered architect with 30 years of experience in the design, construction and operations of healthcare facilities. He is currently director of sustainability at the North Shore LIJ Health System, where he is responsible for coordinating the system's sustainability initiatives. He leads the effort to facilitate the certification of all North Shore LIJ Health System projects under the USGBC's LEED rating system. In addition to his position on the board of directors for the USGBC-LI chapter, he is the immediate past chair of USGBC's Water Efficiency Technical Advisory Group, a founding board member of the Long Island Geothermal Energy Org., and an instructor and advisory board member for the Advanced Energy Training Institute. Rosen has been selected as the USGBC's 2014 Best of Building award recipient for Best LEED AP with Specialty. The USGBC's Best of Building Awards celebrate the year's best green products, projects, organizations and individuals making an impact in green building. Nominees and winners are selected exclusively by the members of USGBC, a diverse community of the world's leading organizations invested in sustainability.
