Meet the USGBC Member: Megan Bové

Megan Bové is the LEED coordinator at Racanelli Construction, a preconstruction planning, project management, design/build, and general contracting firm. In addition, Bové is the chapter coordinator for the Long Island Chapter of USGBC-LI and sits as the chairwoman of the Emerging Professionals Committee. Her background as an interior designer has included high-end residential design, small commercial design and residential design on Long Island. She is President of Long Island Junior Chamber, volunteers numerous hours with her local parish, and is a devoted Yankees fan.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
