Mayer CPAs to hold their first annual toy drive

Mayer CPAs' will hold their first annual toy drive, which will collect toys for sick children at North Shore LIJ Cohen's Children's Hospital. The toy drive will run from December 1st to 12th and donations will be accepted at both the Woodbury and New York City office locations. "Being in the hospital during this time of year can be especially difficult for children," said Marianna Mooney, partner at Mayer CPAs and co-chair of the toy drive. "Your toy donation can bring a smile to a child and give them a chance to forget about their sickness and experience the joys of the holidays." The firm will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. For those who want to participate but do not have the time to buy a toy, the firm will accept checks indicating "Toy Drive" and will purchase gifts on behalf of those who would like to contribute to the cause. Checks can be made payable to Mayer CPAs LLP. "We are really proud of our team, community, and wonderful network of clients and referral sources," said Stuart Mayer, partner and co-chair of the drive. "It's inspiring to see the support for a meaningful cause." Every year thousands of children go to Cohen Children's Medical Center for a variety of reasons. A truly unique facility, Cohen Children's Medical Center is dedicated exclusively to the care of children and committed to providing the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art care in all major clinical areas.
