Martucci promoted to vice president of operations for PFI
Steve Martucci has been promoted to vice president of operations for Plant Fantasies Inc. (PFI), an award-winning, Chelsea-based landscape design/build firm.
Martucci joined PFI in 2003 as an account executive and was quickly promoted to sales director then operations manager, a position he has held for the past two years. He has played a key role in several major PFI projects including the 250 Hudson green roof with FXFOWLE Architects; the renovation of the Grace Buildings public plaza; the terrace installation for Young & Rubicam at 3 Columbus Circle; and, most recently, a three-part installation (courtyard, terrace and rooftop garden) at Gotham West, one of Manhattan's newest rentals located in Hell's Kitchen with Hudson River views. He has worked with many of the city's leading developer/owners, architects and construction management companies including Plaza Construction, TF Cornerstone, and Jack Resnick & Sons.
"I have been very fortunate to be a part of the PFI team; it has enabled me to develop my passion while growing as a strong leader in a highly competitive field in the greatest city in the world," said Martucci.
Teresa Carleo, PFI's president and CEO, said, "Steve has earned this promotion through his years of hard work, his unstinting dedication and loyalty, the excellence of his achievements, and a great can-do attitude that has enabled him to meet and surpass any challenge presented to him numerous times. In all this, he has demonstrated the characteristics of leadership."
A graduate of Arizona State University, Martucci holds a bachelor of arts science in Communications and has over 19 years of experience in the landscape industry. PFI has been providing design, construction, and maintenance services to New York properties for over 25 years.
