College: University at Buffalo, Civil Engineering First job unrelated to your current field: I worked as a stock clerk at a local grocery store. I remember freezing my hands handling the ice cream. First job in your current field: I learned a lot working over the summer at a three-person engineering firm in Buffalo during college. What your firm does now and its plans for the future? We're a diverse architectural and engineering firm looking to expand our practice in healthcare. Hobbies: I'm a college football referee in the Mid-American Conference. I'm lucky to be working with and learning from some of the top officials in the country. Favorite film: "The Natural" Keys to success: Keep good people around me and give them the freedom to use their talents and do what they do best. If you had to choose a different profession, what would it be? Hopefully something that gets me outside when the weather is nice. Person you admire most (outside of family): Engineers from days past who got by without computers or calculators yet their projects are still standing and functional even today.
